Not for the faint of heart. True India Pale Ales had to withstand long sea voyages before quenching the thirst of cranky British troops stationed in India. Our IPA is true to this style, it’s bracing, bitter and higher in alcohol (6.5%alc./vol) and made with the trademark Propeller quality. It’s full-bodied ale for full throttle beer lovers!

What Others Are Saying
Best example of India Pale Ale I have ever come across. Love the intense hop fueled bitterness, and rich malty texture. An excellent ale.
Delicious, this is my favorite beer. I wish I could get it on PEI...
Tried this IPA for the first time a week ago. I showed up with six of them at a friends house and ended up giving three away after letting my friends sample. Superb!
What other IPA's strive to be. This is a classic.
Probably the finest bottled beer in Canada and, along with Sierra Nevada, as good as any on Earth.
Was thrilled to find a single six-pack here in Calgary yesterday. It was wonderful. We do have one beer here which is better, Wild Rose Imperial but that is a seasonal and at 10+% not for daily drinking. An unfair comparison really.
Probably the finest bottled beer in Canada and, along with Sierra Nevada, as good as any on Earth.
One of the manlier IPAs I've experienced. I like my IPAs like I like my coffee (and women): strong, bitter, and frequently.
I love this beer, too bad i can only find it from time to time in N.B
Never knew what a real IPA should taste like until I tried Propeller's. Only bad thing is now it has ruined all other domestic beer for me :-)
