Tea Rex unearthed at Gottingen Street

It might not be your gramma’s cuppa, but holding your pinky out while drinking is absolutely an option for this midnight ale.

An unfiltered black ale with a creamy brown head, Tea Rex is smooth and approachable. Ahtanum hops brings its bright, distinct notes to this brew, while assam black tea provides a complementary, subtle finish. And hey, molasses undertones might not be the maple syrup you prefer on your pancakes or French toast, but they’re a great flavour boost in Tea Rex, our one hit wonder hitting taps this week.

Pair it with grilled salmon, pork chops, or bacon and eggs for Sunday brunch. Tea Rex’s roasty flavours can easily swap out for your toast.

P.S. Though we don’t recommend milk and sugar, we do suggest you try Tea Rex in a tea cup.

P.P.S. No dinosaurs were harmed in the making of Tea Rex.
